Madere Marsh Boardwalk

This boardwalk was disappointing and short. Interesting that it goes to look at an old landfill. Recommend the entrance on other side of the road for a little longer more enjoyable boardwalk

It's just a little dock overlooking the marsh but its beautiful. It's right across the street from bayou sauvage so I'd recommend seeing the short bayou sauvage trail, then drive across the street for one last nice view here before a picnic. I'm glad i made the short drive out from new orleans to see this spot. ud83dudc97

Very easy boardwalk trail. Maybe it's a mile loop in addition to a gravel road to walk along the water. Great for little kids (took a toddler with no problems). Interesting signs. Clean restroom. Parking lot w water fountains and bike racks.

Nice walkway into nature. Not long, but long enough to get away into nature for a second. Check it out!

Very very short, like 30 seconds of walking. But there's an observation deck at the end with a gorgeous open view of nature.
