Old facility that needs repair.

The staff are very kind and courteous, well organized and I always enjoy my visits with my son. Even the inmates are very respectful and helpful. My favorite thing to do with my son is going to banquet dinners that are semi-formal , some have live entertainment they are free and meals are prepared and served by the inmates through many non-profit organizations also done by the inmates. This prison is one of the best Rehabilitation Sinners I have ever seen or heard of. I would like to thank everyone especially the warden any his staff for all their participation in making this place warm and welcoming... mostly enjoyable!

This facility seems to have a very fine and very well-trained staff. Everyone always appears to be highly respectable, including the inmates. I have visited here many times and find that Elyan Hunt is by far, the best Correctional Facility that I have ever been to. Without such a great staff and solid order there would not be such a well structured environment for the inmates in which all the ones that I have encountered and been around are very cordial, respectable and well-mannered. I love that most are involved in many different activities and have great work ethics. There time is well spent, which makes for a much calmer place for them to be. It gives me a sense of relief to know that family members who are serving out their time here seem somewhat content, given their situation or maybe otherwise, their circumstance. The atmosphere always seems pleasant and for lack of better words, happy. And regardless of why these men are here they're still human and they deserve to be treated just as that!

(Background: My brother is incarcerated here. My Mother and I visit infrequently). The staff is extremely rude, inconsiderate, and seem to go out of their way not to provide information. Most of the time they do not answer the phone or pickup but hang up immediately. We've been dealing with this facility for several years now and still can not understand their policies because they seem to change constantly. From the inside (so grain of salt) my brother reports that they frequently deprived them of blankets during the winter and make up reasons to deprive inmates of visitation rights.

I Called To See How I Cam Go Visit Mu Family Member. The Lady On The Phone Was Very Respectful To Me. I Plan On Coming Their To See My Family Member and Tour The Faculty.
