Neat covered bridge. It is currently subject to a conservation effort to restore and preserve it, but definitely a neat hidden gem in northern west Georgia and very close to Helen.
While exploring and then Northeast Georgia Mountains, my husband and I came across the Stovall Covered Bridge. It's a really cool place to take a few photos and it is the original Bridge out in the sautee nacoochee area. The original Bridge has been replaced, of course, with a much more modern concrete bridge. But you can use the small parking area if you'd like to get out and actually walk along the bridge.
