quiet and peaceful, very informative if not sparse, but audio tour available. extended trails are stunning
This National Park is an interesting look back in time. The ceremonial earth mound is amazing to think it was created a basket of soil at a time. There are 8 miles worth of trails so this is an excellent destination for a long walk while learning some history. An audio tour is available on your phone.
Beautiful park with tons of history. During the pandemic, you can't get your stamp ud83dude1f but we were happy to climb the mounds and do the trails. Only open 1-5 each day.
A childhood favorite that I took my kids to and someday my grandkids.
I think I must have missed the entrance to the chamber because I couldn't find it. It would have been nice. The history is fascinating. This must be a date spot because there were quite a few couples hanging out in top of the biggest mound.
