This is such a gorgeous lighthouse full of history. The lighthouse is 108 feet tall and provides gorgeous beach views at the top. The museum has so much history and all of the buildings give you a view of what life was like back then. Around the lighthouse has a few restaurants, a beautiful Veteran memorial, right by the marina and such a pretty landmark for the city of Ponce Inlet.nnOff Beach Street, you can visit the Ponce Inlet Historical Museum which includes the renovated Meyer-Davis House (the last civilian lighthouse keeper in 1941, Nathaniel Meyer), and the first Post Office in Ponce. Both buildings are on the National Historic Register list.nnLove snapping a few pictures every time I’m over here.

Quite an extensive land of history with Ponce Inlet formerly known as Mosquito Inlet. We were able to explore the Three Keepers' houses, checked out the Cuban rafts, and of course climbed the 203-step (?) or so lighthouse. The view was absolutely breathtaking at the top. We went on a cloudy, overcast day, therefore the wind was blowing aplenty at the top. Able to see much of the trees, inlet and land at the top. Also due to doing some research on the website we received certificates for climbing the lighthouse. The gift shop also had many apparel to view and purchase from. It is $6.95 per adult plus tax.

This is truly one if the hidden gems of Florida. So much to learn about the historic lighthouse and landmark. Was out taking a leisurely afternoon car trip with my elderly parents and extended senior relatives. It was easy for mom to get into the souvenir store since they have a wheelchair ramp built along the porch. Once inside, make sure to check out lovely souvenirs and, what caught my attention, an array of historic paperback books on Ponce Inlet, and other Florida state treasures. Don't forget to arrive before 5:00 pm, as that is the last hour to purchase tour tickets to the top of the lighthouse, including access to the grounds.

I loved everything! The historical information about lighthouse keepers, their families, the settling of this area was really interesting. The buildings are all so well maintained and historically staged. It gave a great sense of stepping back in time. The walk to the top of the lighthouse was wonderful. They've made a way to keep your space between other visitors and the view at the top is breathtaking.

What an amazing and fun place. Many buildings to see and lots of history to learn about. The best part is climbing the 196 steps to the top of the lighthouse. Amazing views from the top. A must do activity if you are in the area. Great gift shop also.
