I recently toured the Central Florida Zoo and was blown away by all of the great options they have available for special events, especially weddings. They have an outdoor area for ceremony and cocktail area with adorable market lights that are perfect for your special day, staged in front of a gazebo area. Chairs are provided by the venue for both ceremony and reception. The indoor reception area is a ball room with neutral colors that can be transformed into any theme. There are other ceremony locations around the park that can accommodate smaller group sizes. Jillian gave me the tour and is so great to work with. This is such a wonderful and unique location to get married and you have to check it out!

I wish I could’ve given them 5 stars but honestly 3 is pushing it. My 4yr old grandson had fun, only because they had a playground and a water pad. There were a lot of empty cages. The animals they did have... like a crow, I think could be seen at a pet store or just going for a walk. All except the 2 giraffes and 1 Rhino. They have a place to eat, sponsored by Sonny’s BBQ,and if you like BBQ or fried food it’s great, however, I do not eat either and there were no healthy choices. The food was also expensive. I was thinking of getting season passes, but after today I can tell you I will not waste my money. A side note... the llama at the kids zone, where you can feed the goats and llama, is very aggressive, almost dangerously aggressive. I would not let a child feed it.nI wanted to enjoy this day and I am only disappointed.

My fiance and I went here today and though it was nice its so small. We were able to walk the whole zoo in about 2 hours. The greatest part was the feedings of the alpaca, lama, and goats. We also got the chance to feed a giraffe but the amount you feed was not worth how much it was. We did enjoy our time but wish there was more. I went to the zoo in Miami and that was HUGE!!

Very Uncomfortable VisitnnMy wife, myself, and my three young children visit the zoo while in the area - looking for a cool day activity. There were signs posted saying masks were required for visitors age 13+, but once inside the zoo, there was no compliance or enforcement and that made us uncomfortable. Accordingly, we tried to see animals with not many people, but found it very crowded and again, no staff around to enforce social distancing or overall safety, so we left after less than one hour. We did enjoy seeing the black bear, rhino, cheetahs, and large birds. We hope to visit again, post pandemic.
