It’s a small school. They brag about their test scores, but it’s really the doctor and lawyer parents pushing the kids through. There have been a few great teachers... but also a lot more horrible ones. There was no question who the favorite students were. Those who had been there the longest received extra attention. The principal is really great. Wish some of the teachers and parents were. The tourism culture around this area taints the school community. I hate to bring up those elitist parents again, but some failed to teach their children about racism and entitlement, and it really showed.
My daughter was lucky to have been able to attend the Beach School for a short time. we wish she could've stayed there. This school is wonderful. Teachers are great. Principal is the best!!
