This is a delightful place to spend an hour or two. There are a remarkable number of railroad artifacts ranging from railroad repair equipment to the china used in dining cars (each line had its own design!). There are five rooms, including one large room with very well-planned and informative exhibits. Educational--and fun for all of the family, especially if you love trains.
The museum has a wealth of information. We were there to see/hear Danny Harmon give a presentation on railroad video photography. He was wonderful. I learned a lot. ud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4d
Great place for railroad enthusiasts
Great museum. Bigger than I thought it would be. So much packed in and very obscure items too. There is a kids Thomas the Tank engine table too.
This is the place to checkout if you want to see some railroad artifacts I was impressed of all the items they had there only thing missing was a train ride around Winter Garden. Overall it's a great place to visit if you are into historic or vintage railroads. Staff was very informative and they even sell some items there as well. Recommend if you are in the Winter Garden area to check this place out as well as the Heritage Historic Museum a few blocks over downtown lot of rich history in this town.
