Very interesting! Enjoyed this immensely, great staff. Two hours passed so quickly, my back didn't even think to start aching!
Anyone who has anything to do with electronics, radio or communications should not miss this place. Also shows an interesting and important part of US history. Very nice and knowledgeable personnel. Did you know that there was a service where a ship crew could telegraph a question to a shoreside doctor and receive an emergency medical advice? Attached photo shows that exhibit...
Really nice museum which gives great history of use of wireless communications. Good use of videos and audio recordings. Extra treat to see the Education center. Excellent docents.
Excellent and fascinating museum. The docents know their stuff and the content and history of the museum is fascinating. Did you know they received the Titanics SOS call way back when? Find out how the Enigma machine works and why it was nearly impossible to break the code. A place to spend a few hours learning about our amazing early wireless history.
So cool, so much history. I grew up on the Cape and had no idea the significance these buildings I drove past on a daily basis had.
