I come here often. I say once a week. Just to enjoy the view and ambience of the hotel. I have not gotten a room yet but have walked the grounds more times than I can count. It's situated in the middle of busy Suffolk but it doesn't feel like it at all. The ambience that the hotel gives is the best for those searching for peace and tranquility. When I come here I simply just sit and enjoy life as it passes me by. I know for a fact that this hotel is the reason why I always find peace when I come here to look for it.

Floor smelled like skunk (3rd floor) bathroom floor was gross I put white towel down cause floor was slippery before my shower even started. I wiped floor towel was black! Comfortable bed. Low selection of TV channels. Seemed like a over priced (178.00) super 8 motel. But no availabilities near because Army reservists. Told front desk they didn't seem to own the issue or offer compensation.

I was not pleased with my first time stay. I booked a room with two queen beds online through booking.com and when I checked in, first, I was given a room with one full size bed. They changed it and I was given a room with two beds, but 2 full size beds. They definitely were not queen beds. That was disappointing. I had dinner and breakfast there in the restaurant. Each time the service was slow. There was only one cook each time. Breakfast took the waitress to acknowledge me in the middle of the room for atleast a half hour. It was not busy. She kept telling me, she will be right with me. People would come into the restaurant, she would greet them, sit them down, give them a menu and let them know she would be right with them. They got there drinks and all while I'm still waiting to be acknowledge and taken care of. I had no menu. No water. I sat there patiently until I noticed all of these other people walking in and being taken care of. I was not satisfied with the service. I went to the restaurant with more than enough time before I had to be somewhere. So it was disappointing.

Death in the family. I booked a room for 2 nights since my entire family is already in their hotel. I never received an email confirmation. I call in to ask about it and a guy picks up, immediately asking me to hold. As if I had a choice. I wait for 22 minutes, he never returns. At this point I just want to cancel my reservation if one is even in their system. I called 5 more times and it rung 20 times each. Ridiculous. No voicemail - nothing. At $119 a night for a basic looking hotel room they should be able to afford a front desk attendant who can answer the phone.
