Days Inn by Wyndham Waynesboro

The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious. All listed amenities were present. Check in was friendly and professional. Wish breakfast was a bit more substantial, fruit, nutrigrain bar, juice. In time of covid we understand. One star lost for two reasons, the room could've been cleaner and the bathroom had dirty tissue in the toilet and water was left running in the bathtub.

The room was clean, staff is very nice. The area is safe. Priced very reasonably. (I did use priceline, and only needed a hotel for about six hours sleep). Internet was fast. I would stay here again.

Waynesboro is the perfect place for me to stop when I travel from my home In the SW part of the state to my home in Va Beach!! Unfortunately I find myself having to drive the entire way when I return!! I don't seem to see anything that makes me feel comfortable enough to spend a night !

We've stayed at this Days inn once before and found it to be an excellent value! The 2nd time I made an error and we ended up in the Days Inn off of 81 ..the worst days inn ever so this last time I triple checked to ensure I reserved a room at this days inn. Made our reservations at the end of Nov assuming they'd fill up due to xmas. Two double beds smoking room...paid in full ready for our arrival on the 23rd of Dec to find a sign on the door no smoking! Apparently the hotel has turned completely to a nonsmoking hotel and smokers are expected to stand outside in freezing weather inspite of paying 300+ for a room! My reservation said smoking room! It was too late to change hotels even though I paid the extra 55 dollars to change or cancel my reservation and get a full refund ...the time to do that had passed! So we enter the room and you're hit with a strong smell of air freshener and you guessed it cigarette smoke! Luckily I cant sleep without a fan so we left the door half opened while we let the fan blow the air out...it helped a little. The saving grace was that we vape when we're unable to smoke and that's perfectly fine..sure beats standing outside in 17 degree Temps especially when you're from Florida! It might as well have been 30 below zero to us lol. So after the misrepresentation frustration....we also had the unpleasant honor of being woke up at 5:30 am from the neighbors music blaring! Finally at 5:55am I called the front desk..apparently they did something cus the music stop. Shortly there after I was woken back up by the barking of what sounded like a bull mastiff coming from the same room with the music! When you're on vacation the last thing you want is to be woken up before 7 am! So other than those two issues the room was clean...well stocked with towels..at least this hotel realizes that women typically use two towels one for her wet hair and the other to dry with...most hotels give you 2 large towels period..so this is definitely a plus. The beds are very comfortable..at least the 1 of the 2 beds in the room..didnt sleep in that one. Front desk employees always seem to be very pleasant and professional! So even inspite of the couple of issues I we had the cost vs the x 2 issues well its worth it..although I don't know if we will ever stay there again but I would recommend the hotel to a family member or friend

Front desk staff very friendly and hospitable. Offered us coffee all day, breakfast bag each morning, and wished us a nice stay.nPool is refreshing, clean and large for a hotel. Room was great as everything worked, recently sanitized, and bed and bath comfortable.nThank you,nR. E.nRoom 109
