Larry and Patricia are the definition of southern hospitality. My brother and I stayed there last week for a night while en route to our golf trip. They were there welcoming us upon our arrival around 9pm and had an amazing breakfast made to our order for us at 630am the next morning before our tee time. We couldn't have asked for better hosts on a gorgeous property tucked away in the countryside. I'd highly recommend them!
You get the feel of staying in an old plantation home but with just the right amount of modern luxuries. Host was very friendly and breakfast was delicious. The perfect place to get away.

Beautiful place, in a lovely part of New Kent, with a lot of fun historical details. You aren't actually staying in a historic plantation home, but it almost feels like it. Really enjoyed the hosts, with delicious food and good conversation. Really made us feel at home, and did some things to be kind and helpful that we're above beyond, in my opinion. We had a wonderfully restful weekend here, and will almost certainly be back.nnIt's a bit off the beaten path, without TV or wifi, but you can get those at a hotel in town. If you want peace and quiet, and a chance to unplug, I heartily recommend.
Immaculately clean, wonderful hosts and lovely setting. It was like staying with family (the good kind). I will book again without hesitation. Add the food and attention, I would have paid twice as much.
