Warning to travelers. Stay away. Lost my reservation after booking on a very popular travel site. I’ve never had an issue with this site ever before. When arrived front desk was very rude and unhelpful. The place is run down and on the verge of closing. Just an absolute dump. Stay away. Don’t book and save yourself the hassle. Wish I had listened to the other reviews.

We were very HAPPY to be able to get a room since we had no power at our house thanks to the ice storm. Was a bit disappointed when we found standing water and dirt in the bathtub. We were very pleased that they sent housekeeping to the room in a very timely manner to take care of the problem. We are very HAPPY to have a warm place to sleep.

The staff was very helpful to the needs of a downstairs smoking room for me and my cousin after her hip replacement..thanks for your kindness

All the rooms have been updated since the last time I was here very nice very clean very quiet please give it a try will stay here in the future when I'm back in the area of Virginia

I want to start by saying that the staff are pleasant people. I’ve been staying for about three or so weeks until my apartment was ready for move-in and have had some issues with my puppy messing some things up and they were easy to work with in that regard.nnHowever, there are multiple issues.. The beds are extremely uncomfortable as are the pillows. The sink doesn’t work correctly and the shower head is messed up in both of the rooms I stayed in. I also found a used syringe cap behind the nightstand and a cockroach on top of the nightstand. The cleaning staff do a very good job and who would think to look behind the nightstand, I don’t know, BUT the fact that I found it as well as a cockroach ruined the experience for me. There was a lot of noise to the point where I could not sleep for work the next day. Given, I never formally complained because I’m sure my dog made a fair share of noise when I left for work in the mornings. I ended up leaving early simply because of the cleanliness. I found myself checking into the candlewood suites which I CANNOT recommend more. It’s only an extra $20 a night for 10x more accommodations as well as cleaner and overall more “plush” rooms.nnAt the end of the day, the staff are understanding and I’m sure they deal with a lot of questionable things but the stay itself isn’t based off of the employees. It’s based off of the comfortability and hygienic standards of the room. I would not recommend for someone who has the extra $10-$20 to spend per night.
