Mold, dirt, not clean. Should be 40$ a night.
I'd give a strong 3.75. The staff was suberb, any questions were answered immediately, and requests fulfilled as quick as possible. The only down fall was the condition of the hotel, it's outdated. However they are going through renovations so it may get better. Also, I'd skip the buffet breakfast, most of it was undercooked and greasy, just order from the menu. The bar was a great atmosphere and delicious dinner food. You'll be literally steps from Natural Bridge Visitors Center and Natural Bridge itself. The view from the front was outstanding. We will return.
Great location. Wonderful staff. Good food. But the place is really dated! The bed was comfortable though the pillows were flatter than pancakes, super thin sheets (my hand went through pulling it up), towels are thin, no waste basket in the bathroom and the heating was intermittent. We froze the first night! Maintenance was quick to try and resolve unfortunately the units are 4 decades old and parts are worn out. We stopped just for overnight while traveling. Lobby is historically attractive. Our room had been redone. Bathroom too. Pretty, clean, good bed and friendly staff. Will come back and explore the area.
So disappointed!! Booked room some time ago to return to the location of our honeymoon over 40 years later. Arrived to be told our reserved room had been rented out . The room offered was dirty, had no fan or air conditioning. The balcony door could be opened , but with no screen or way to secure the room at all- leaving you to sleep in a completely unsecure room.nHotel should be transparent about the conditions of the hotel.
