Went to the Lexington Restaurant with my family (wife and three kids) for the first time tonight. Great service, and while its not fine dining by any means, its good food at decent prices, and if all the servers are as good as the one we had, its well worth a return visit. Overall, it was very enjoyable!
People were so rude. Waitress refused to greet us. The are only nice to locals. Dont bother. We canceled our order. Our waitress has told us that it would be a while we're busy (they werent). Took a while for her to even greet us. Would give zero if I could.nYou all should remember tourist bring money to your town. Maybe be nicer.
I actually came across this place after running out of gas and walking several miles with my girlfriend and her 3 year old. We were hot, tired, upset, and in need of help. I hope I don't get anyone in trouble. Someone there offered my girlfriend a ride to get a gas can and some gas so that she could go back and get our vehicle and then return to pick up me and her daughter. The waitress asked if the 3 year old wanted ice cream. She chose chocolate and was very excited. It made my heart happy knowing what she has just been through. I asked for a coke. After the waitress brought it, I had some cash in my hand and asked how much I owed for the the ice cream and coke. She said no, you can have those. I was more happy about them seeing that we were having a hard time and showing some compassion and friendliness than I was to get our stuff for free. Thanks again to the two workers at Lexington Restaurant who we seen that day.

Called for pick up and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. Great home cooked meals at reasonable prices with friendly service. Love their beans!
