Martinsville Health Department

It is Friday June 19, 2020 at 12:51pm. I am trying to reach the wic department and instead of getting anybody on the phone I get a recorded message that says they are closed for the holiday.. WHAT HOLIDAY IS ON JUNE 19TH!!!!!!!!!! I need my benefits transferred and can't get any help. Don't say your open if you're closed and today isn't a holiday, Sunday is.

The same as any other government building go in to get help with one thing and have to go through 20 hoops just to find out they won't help you

As far as the wic office....one terrible little star. Always a long wait and very lazy people working there. With exception of one person. Too inconvenient because you have to come up there every three months and do this over and over for each child and they hardly ever answer the phone. I also want to mention how there is no changing table in the bathroom even though it is a place where you bring children.

They are very slow.. Had an appointment at 9:00 am and didn't get out until 11:45 am..

Never been inside but have taken others there and they all were satisfied completely.
