Stayed for one night. The hotel was amazing. When checking in the guy at the counter was friendly and willing to answer any question asked. We had gotten a room with two queen beds. The room looked and smelled clean. I even searched the room for trash and things because I have had bad experiences before. I didn't find anything. Some dust here and there but nothing to complain about. Loved it and the food is fantastic. Will be returning in a couple months for a longer stay. Thanks.
I booked a suite for my wife's birthday. When I arrived at the hotel and proceeded to check in, I was told they didn't have any suites available because the suites were being wall papered. I was told the manager made the executive decision to put me in a corner room suite. Nobody called me to offer this change. So, not only did they not have the courtesy to call me they also tried to charge me for the same price of a main suite. I was told I could cancel without any penalty if I chose to, which I did. However, almost a week later, the money for the room I never got is still being held by them. I did go to the Historic Williamsburg Holiday Inn and they were more than accommodating. There suite was amazing. They have an indoor pool and hot tub(which IS open) the staff is super nice and their restaurant(515 Bistro) was far superior to Burger Theory(you've got to try there bacon, bbq and cheddar burger). As for the Newport News Holiday Inn, I will NEVER stay there again!!!

Awesome accommodations. Clean beds, clean floors. Pool facility well kept. Worth the extra few bucks! Would stay again.
Really nice places to stay in the second time I stayed there the staff is very friendly and do everything they can to make your stay pleasurable
