I would give this 100 stars if I could, my family and I had such a pleasant experience staying here. First off, the entire hotel and the grounds are so well kept, elegant, and conveniently located near historic Williamsburg, but the thing that really set this hotel apart for us was their staff.nnThe personnel at the front desk were so friendly, welcoming, and professional. The manager asked me about my brewery shirt and made pleasant and genuine conversation with me, and gave me great local beer suggestions.nnWe were greeted by house keeping as we walked to our room and asked how our day was, and how we liked the area.nnWe accidentally left my oldest daughter’s stuffed horse in the hotel, and the house keeping manager went out of his way to help us hunt it down and mail it out of state to us.nnI loved our short one night stay here and would easily go back and pay the premium price again!
Very clean, comfy hotel just a block away from a variety of Colonial Williamsburg activities. Plus, if you don't want to walk...there is a shuttle bus stop just outside. Breakfast options were very good in Traditions, and the cupboard is also good if you prefer to grab 'n go rather than sitting down in the restaurant.
Love staying here. 2nd time in a few months. Love that the front desk works with me and gets me a room in Nicholas.n1st floor is so convenient for me as I get older. :)nBooked 2 rooms for girlie get away and everything was perfect .nWill be back soon.
James was extremely helpful with our large group of JR High students checking in late into the evening. This lodge is beautiful and highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Rooms where hot. Heater would not cut off I got over heated and got sick the service was awful and the prices are outrageous. You pay way more then it's worth would not recommend..food was awful and took an hour to get and their were only 10 people in the restaurant...will never go back
