Great space! Bed was super comfy and the bathroom looked fully renovated with new fixtures. TV also was recently upgraded to a massive modern display. Very nice room.
Property is not particularly well kept. Carpet in room was dirty. Random bits of Cheetos and snack food crumbs and paper on the floor. Looks like they only bother vacuuming straight down the middle of the room. Huge bags of trash piled at the side exit. Only one luggage cart on the property which was conveniently missing when I needed it. Front desk staff are very polite and helpful, but housekeeping could be improved.
The staff was nice, but our room was not. We had two queen beds and one of them had bugs. Not bed bugs, but bugs nonetheless. My wife was horrified. I ended up stripping the bed bare, trapping the bugs in the fitted sheet, then slept on the bare mattress with the comforter over me. We were also concerned about hotel security. I had gone out to walk the dog and my wife accidentally locked herself out of the room in meantime. She was able to get a backup key to the room from the front desk staff without proof of ID. Does that mean anyone savvy enough to know my room number can request a key to my room without providing proof of ID? In any case, while we typically stay at LaQuintas due to their generous pet policy, we will be avoiding this one from now on.
Parking if arriving late may be an issue otherwise have stayed many times and have always had a welcoming experience.
Clean rooms and a big TV. Bathrooms are a bit small. I banged my elbow a few times in the space. I would recommend. Hallway can get a bit noisy but hotel can't really control everyone
