Old cart and farm paths outline ancient wood lots belonging to barnstable residents. Contains the highest point in the town of Barnstable, sumac groves, fields and ancient army facilities to include the foundation of a WWI era army watch tower, now adjacent walker point.nnMany signs of glaciation can be seen in the topography and therefore sought by mountain bikers.
Beautiful trails. Diverse scenery. Not great trail marking in some parts.
Great mtb trails.
Well maintained trails most of the trail care is conducted by New England Mountain Association ( NEMBA). Thank you NEMBA and other volunteers for doing a great job keeping the trail system clear for everyone to use.
