Randolph Park Laundromat

The laundromat smelled and looked clean which is always great. But I was not please with the quality of the washers or dryers. Spending so much money for a washer that doesn’t even spin the clothes out right and leaves your clothes dripping. The dryer I had to switch 3 times because the first one was out of order, the second one didn’t dry correctly and the third one did alright, even though I had to place more change in it to dry.nnI wanted to love this place. It just didn’t do it for me.

This place is a sad excuse for a laundromat. First off this place is cash only, which opens the door for employees & the owner to skim money just like Vegas casinos were famous for. And also the change machine is cash only also, so heaven help you if you only have a 20 dollar bill because you'll end up with $17 in quarters after paying $3 for the wash machine. It appears that there have been very few repairs & upgrades to this facility since the 70's. Surprised that the wash machines are not harvest gold. Quite a few of the washers & dryers had signs saying out of order, and there were also empty spaces were there should be equipment. There is no on site attendant, so if you have a problem with a machine you have to fill out a post card and pray for a refund. The floor was filthy and in a state of disrepair. Sofa, chairs and tables were so grungy I did not sit down while waiting for my laundry to be washed. Parking and also the restroom are not ADA handicap accessible. This business needs a lot of repairs and upgrades to join the 2020's and be competitive with newer laundromats and also be handicap accessible.
