What a great place for children of all ages. I remember as a child enjoying everything Boston’s Children’s Museum has to offer just as much as I reflect in watching my children also enjoy! Was a little disappointed when I found out the recycling center was no longer an exhibit, however once a staff member explained it made total sense along with feeling assured to why I admire such establishment. I was told the exhibit was implemented to help the world learn the importance of practicing recycling materials to reduce harmful waste to our Earth, and after years of providing they felt as though it had done what its intent was made for and a new exhibit to introduce was only appropriate. I highly recommend the Boston children’s museum to any one from babies to adults whether you’re enjoying the sun yourself or watching your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc. it only brings such delight while visiting .
I think I am especially impressed with the children's kitchen. I wish I had a chance to play there when I was a kid. I wish I could bring my friends there and play with them there.nnAnother thing I absolutely adore about this museum is a life size Japanese house. It's just wow. They also have cute Japanese dolls right next to it.nnHighly recommend to explore this museum. They have so many different exhibitions there including a giant dinasour.
Definitely worth it for children in elementary school and younger. There are many different areas and dayly events. The lockers used to be free but are paid now. The parking is expensive especially during weekdays. It is always a good idea to bring lighter shoes for the children during winter for running and climbing. My boys love the huge climbing structure in the foyer.
A great time for kids! They were paying good attention to covid precautions, as best as can be done at this time.
We had fun! We chose the 10-12 spot and it was not enough! You see how empty the place is because they practice really good social distancing. The museum is clean and the staff were nice! I will suggest for kids to start at the 3rd floor and going down because we had little time left by the time we reached 3rd floor and I think that’s the most exciting part. We will definitely come again!
