My son is disabled and recently had his house burn down where he had been living. We went to Alaska housing for help , they put him on a list and told us he could be on it for up to a year or more. The staff at the front desk were rude and impatient with our questions , we left there in shock and I felt like crying . I'm sure these people deal with desperate people all the time and they have become cold to people in need and reaching out for solutions .
