Royal Lahaina Resort

Although it's been a while since we stayed here, I always remember the sweet memories when we stayed. The resort is very well kept and comfortable. Our original room had a slight problem. The manager to compensate, gave us the best room in the resort and has been super helpful to accommodate our needs. Everyone is really nice and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the food is excellent. I can't thank enough to everyone who made our vacation really memorable. Highly recommended.

They showed me kindness and caring when I unexpectedly ended up traveling alone for the first time in 10 years.nnYou all taught me that it is important to remember the ones that are kind to you.nnI also, love how relaxed the whole property is and really enjoyed the room.nnI hope to come back some day and will definitely make it a point to stay at the Royal Lahaina. This was our first trip to Hawaii and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The staff was very helpful and the cottage we stayed in was very clean. Very easy walk to Black Rock and right on the beach. There are a lot of amenities in the vicinity and high recommend this resort.

We loved our experience at Royal Lahaina. The service was great, the staff was awesome and the other patrons were so nice. It's a far cry from some other more posh resorts where the other guests are off-putting. There is nothing overly sexy about Royal Lahaina, but I'll stay there every time I'm in Maui.

We stayed in the cottages and let me say....Thin walls? Yep! Thin ceilings? Yep! Mildew in the bathroom? Yep...check that! Paint coming off of the walls?! Absolutely! Rotting wood in the room? Oh ya....deteriorating! Scuffs of the ceiling....yep! Requested our room to be cleaned and did not happen. Trash left outside the rooms.nnIf the Luau is going on and you show up, you will need to park in the”overflow” parking as you, as a paid guest, get no frontal parking. First come and first serve!nnPositives: Right on the ocean and they do a good job of making sure it is kept safe. Grounds are kept clean. People are very nice and hospitable.
