Firstly, I want to thank the staff for providing us with the thoughtful care bag on our doorstep when quarantine started back in March. It was a very small gesture, but it meant a lot at the time. We have also had some items in our rent compensated due to the current pandemic and economic crisis. So big points for the staff on their care for their tenants. That's more than most businesses are giving to their employees.nnOnto the complaints:nI live in the units right next to the neighboring Safeway's freight unloading dock, which unfortunately means we hear trucks backing up and beeping every night, sometimes at the wee hours of the morning with the windows closed. This is absolutely not the fault of the complex, just an unfortunate circumstance. We got used to the sounds though, and it stopped waking us up after about a month living in our unit. For some ungodly reason, the Safeway also likes to release their leafblowers at 11 PM. NO idea why they would do that. Besides that, we only hear our neighbors when they close their doors. I'm not sure why our neighbors love to slam their doors so hard that it literally shakes the framed photos on our walls off their mounts.nnAs with all apartments in the PNW (and I mean ALL), there is a mold problem. BUT, we've stayed on top of it and have been cleaning the small mold spores that pop up around the windows in the fall/winter. Just take some soap and a cloth, wear a mask, and clean away. Should fix the issue. Obviously if the mold spores are rampant, call for assistance, and I would definitely give them a call when you first notice it after moving in.nnWe did have a bad flea problem after moving in that was eventually corrected, but it affected my cat very negatively. I was told it was a new carpet so I wasn't concerned about treating my cat with flea medication when we moved in. Either the carpenters brought fleas in on their shoes or the previous renter had an animal that they did not treat for fleas and the issue was overlooked in the apartment hand-off.nnDespite these issues, this place felt like home very quickly. We love the fireplace and the appliances have all been reliable. (The washing machine IS very finicky, however, and does make quite a racket if not loaded with the same weight on all sides. Do NOT try to wash clothes just before going to bed). We haven't seen a single mouse or rat since we've moved in. We live above their small dog park and enjoy watching the dogs play with their owners. Our cat loves to look at the window and watch them play too.nnStaff has also been diligent in providing updates during the pandemic, including reminders on how to keep your cars secure as more people are using their cars less and less. As with most apartment complexes, there are some issues with car break-ins, but they are few and far between (has happened once or twice (not to me) in the year we have been here).nnI haven't run into a rude person since I've moved in here, but then again, we've spent most of our time inside for obvious reasons.nnAll in all, if you are looking for a new place to move into for a low price (our apartment was the cheapest we could find in the area for the amount of space that we got), I recommend The Windsor in Renton. It does have some issues, but Seattle renting is fraught with the exact same issues anywhere you go, doesn't matter how much you spend.

Location is great. Overall a quiet and safe place, excellent attitude and quick response from management. Service is always on point, maintenance do a really good job.

Out of the 4 tours that we did, O'Shea's tour was by far the best. He was willing to put his lunch off to show us the property even though we showed up unannounced and without an appointment. His excitement and pure professionalism was on full display throughout the entire tour and is one of the biggest reasons we are interested in renting.

The Windsor appartement is the best place to live, safe, clean and the neighbors are friendly. In addition to this, I am closer to Safeway.

I am living here already 2 months and I really like the apartment. It has a floor and only the rooms have carpet. They helped us to rent here but here I will tell you why I only gave them 2 stars ... at the end of the month my husband always pays the apartment, went to the manager's office and there to have no mistake he wrote the check in front of the person in charge of receiving it. My husband asked if the amount was correct and they answered yes. After 7 days we received 2 letters and in both they said that we had not paid the total amount of the apartment and that if we do not pay, they evicted us, my husband went to claim them and they told him that we had to pay for the water, the garbage and the late fee that It was 7 days. Why wait 7 days? Why not at the same moment of doing the check? Why did not say anything? Why do you have to pay $ 30 to have your garbage thrown out if I can only walk 10 steps to throw it away? But it's fine for garbage we understand that we agreed in the contract. we have never had a problem in other apartments. we moved here because my dad uses a wheelchair and here they offered us 1st floor since in the other we were in 2nd and they did not have anything on the 1st floor. They can find out my history at maplewood apartments and they will tell us how we went. It's a sadness to do something like this in public, but it's a bad thing for me to ask the manager how much we owe for water for water without receiving a receipt. If you do not ask, they will not tell you how much the water payment is, if they send us an eviction letter what's coming for July. Thank you
