Forest Park

Beautiful area. So many trail options. We will definitely be back. A bit muddy, but it was January. ud83dude42 The trails we were on were not steep, so slipping wasn't much of an issue.

Great little gem really close to Jacksonville. No poison oak, many trails you can explore. Its up to you if you want to spend there an hour or three. Be careful if you have children though, some trails are very narrow cut in to steep hill. Lots of shade, I did not meet anyone even though parking lot was almost full

Great area with a wide variety of hiking trails from creeks to peaks. Most of the hikes are moderately steep and there are plenty of parking areas to provide trailhead access.

This is a favorite outdoor destination with many groomed hiking trails and wonderful vistas of our valley.

Nice park! Very pretty, but lots of poison oak so I wouldn't take my dog there again. Trails are well marked and really nice maps are provided.
