South Umpqua Historical Society

I truly enjoyed my visit.so much interesting history. I absolutely loved all the displays, well arranged. Ruth Ann was very friendly, informative a very sweet lady. I will definitely be back!

Really impressed by the calvacade of history at this place! Our tour guide was helpful and had a great grasp on local history.

Fun place to look around

WE spent two hours there...learning and exploring all the exhibits. Very interesting and the guide was fabulous... Ruth Ann I think her name was. They have four outdoor buildings as well to see. Take the time to visit.

The Pioneer Indian museum, is a extremely nice Frontier Museum. That is free to the public. They have black smith shop. Wagons, old cars, logging equipment, amongst others. It is laid out very nicely, I highly recommend a visit.
