Amazing collection and buildings. The local history is most significant but overview of the northwest frontier is also present.bb We need to go back - it might be relatively small, but there's so much to see.

We have watched this area as it grows from a good place to visit, to a very knowledgeable piece of our areas, to a reflection of Americana. The different time line's, to the life as we know it. A very good place to take school age; and kids enrolling in college; not to mention the people who were there, at that time line.

The Kerbyville Museum is a great place to learn about Oregon and the Illinois Valley. The museum is completely operated by volunteers. They are extremely friendly folks who have a passion for preserving history. They're happy to tell you about the history of the area and direct you to local places of interest. We paid $5 per person (they rely completely on donations!) and walked through the museum for a little over an hour. Don't miss it if you want to learn about southern Oregon.
