Red Lion Inn & Suites Grants Pass

Simple but lovely, affordable highway inn. Rooms were clean and spacious, though the walls are very thin (bring earplugs). Rooms smelled at little bit of smoke, but didn’t bother us too much. I think it’s because guests were smoking in the parking lots. Please make a smoking area farther from the rooms. Nice housekeeping staff! Unfortunately, there was no breakfast available even though it is advertised. Management, please consider preparing a Covid “go-bag” breakfast. Something as simple as a banana, granola bar, and juice box would make guests feel like you were putting in the extra effort. It would’ve been much appreciated instead of just saying “we’re not doing breakfast because of Covid” - that’s a bit of a cop out in my opinion. Also, the night receptionist made no effort to wear a mask when we were in the building. I understand not wearing one when you’re by yourself, but I would’ve liked to at least see an effort to put on a mask when we came in. Overall, would stay here again while passing through grants pass. Not somewhere I would stay for more than 1 night.

I love this hotel as far as the rates, the cleanliness ,the renovation everything really. The only downside that is for sure is the parking lot. If you haven't stayed there the parking is not cool at all. The room size and how comfortable makes up for it.

I wouldn't come back here, if that helps. The room was clean and surprisingly quiet. The bed was ok, and the staff -- well, the only one I ever saw -- was very helpful. The negatives? The place smells like weed. That might be a positive for you! Also, it just felt dodgy. Twice I saw 50-something white guys meeting up with what looked like a groupie for Blind Melon. No idea why. Also, the front desk entrance is about 20' from the street, so you turn in and stop immediately. It's odd and not ideal. Next time I'll pass on by.

I love this hotel. Great rooms with refrigerator and freezer. Love their personal toiletries in the tub and on the sink. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel at such a great price.

No sleepnStay was horrible because of bad neighbors. Called and called front desk, spoke to someone at 2am, then never could reach anyone after that. They did nothing to break up the party next door that lasted until 4:30am.nThen at check out I complained and they said sorry we will talk to management and see if they will do anything for you. So again nothing.nI will up date this with 1 star when they do nothing. UPDATE. NOTHING. Sorry come stay with us again!! Are you kidding. No sleep, you did nothing, complaining you did nothing, You have earned your 1 star rating for sorry come stay with us again. How about taking a little responsibility for what happens at your hotel.nSo many other places to stay...sorry “you had a problem “ no sleep is my problem, doing nothing for customers that is clearly your hotels problem. Good news I’m in the process of moving to grants pass, and will be able to NOT recommend you for years. Sorry
