Buffalo Bill Dam & Visitor Center

Worth stopping to see came here with friends years ago. Was inprest with everything going on here. Electric generators. And all the lake was frozen today. As I went for a ride up US 20. For 30 miles real beautiful trip all the way

Was passing through Wyoming from West Yellowstone to Gillette Wyoming. Came across this gem. Beautiful area. Just wish they had a portable bathroom. As they were closed. But definitely recommend visiting here.

Well... this place definitley took me by surprise.The view is so... incredible from every angle & I couldn't even imagine the level of work went into building this place so many years ago. The visitor center bathrooms were very clean, but keep in mind that you can't see the bottom of the toilets. Its just a black hole that might go to Narnia, lol.. So, don't look down, if you're afraid of dark holes :)

Great stop. Visitors Center was well done. Includes info on dam history and engineering. Good video presentation. Also had interesting sections on fossil finds nearby, agricultural info, animal displays, and some Native American background.nnIf it is windy when you walk out on the dam be sure to listen for the metal railings to sing like wind chimes.

Definitely worth the stop. Great and informative visitors center and a breathtaking view, don't look down : ) Staff was really nice. Make sure you check out the bathrooms as they too are something you've likely not experienced.
