The park is rich in history and provides a glimpse into the Appsalooka Veteran heritage. There are structures to admire and information to read.
This wonderful statue sits in the Veterans Memorial, if in the area, this is worth a stop. Be sure and read the story on the plaque below the Mystic Warrior.
Terribly maintained. Mostly looks like junk. Concrete falling apart and statues also disintegrated. No flags. Bulletin boards faded and falling apart. Sad.
