Gene in the rental shop was amazing. He helped me today when my boots I rented at the AFB gave me a Charlie horse. I have big calves and it makes it always hard for me to find a boot that fits that doesn’t hurt my calf.nnGene was brilliant, he put a heal lift in my boot which made a difference. My foot didn’t go numb anymore and my calf was no longer hurting from a Charlie horse.nnGene went above and beyond for me today so I could ski. He also fitted me with skis that were not to heavy. He knew his stuff.nnIt was a beautiful day on the mountain and I enjoyed every minute of it all because Gene hooked me up! You rock Gene...thank you!nnI recommend Silver Mountain Resort with 5 stars!nnSee you next season!

Very nice and clean. We’ve taken the family and have had a great time.nnUpdate! Tried the down hill mountain biking! New favorite addiction! I guess this place is pretty top end for it too. Can’t get enough.

Love this place.nThe food at the resort restaurant was great, just a few steps from our room with outdoor fire pits and fireplaces all lit. The place was not crowded, the food was very good, we sat by the fireplace just the two of us.nThe roof top hot tub was vacant , we got to enjoy it , just the two of us with a great view of the moon.nThe room was welcoming. With kitchen, we had oyster shooters , dark chocolate.nThe bed was comfortable , we slept well. Ready for a day snowboarding.nThe Gondola was exciting just the two of us in it.nThe slopes were not crowded, we got freshies all morning as it had snowed throughout the night.nThe day was beautiful with blue sky's breaking through the clouds and intervals of light snow.nWe had lunch with a view by the window at the top of the mountain, Nachos!nWe had a very romantic , intimate visit on a Thursday night avoiding the crowds.

Silver mountain isn’t the biggest, doesn’t always have the most snow or the fastest lifts but it is absolutely one of my all time favorites. Some may look down at this small mountain for not having all the amenities of larger resorts but I personally believe that’s exactly what makes this place so special. Short lines, inexpensive lift tickets , ski rental and if you want it instruction. The staff and people in general couldn’t be nicer. It’s like walking back in time to a resort from 30 years ago. Reasonably priced food for lunch with short wait times and plenty of seating. This is what a skiing experience should be.

The mountain was pretty good conditions. The resort rooms are right next to the gondola so easy access to the ski mountain. The water park is a lot of fun, especially for kids! Didn’t try any restaurants. There is a Yoke’s grocery store down the street and mini or full kitchens in the rooms. Also there is a snow apparel shop in the resort area just in case you forgot gloves or pants and want to pay a lot of money for them. Pretty goos for what it is!
