Coeur d'Alene Casino

Winning was just the beginning, let me start this off with I'm not a big gambler, I went to the casino with a wedding party. I'm not a fan of digital dealers nor digital craps/roulette as I feel that it is rigged and not my cup of tea. I went and had good luck up about $400 when I left. The casino is starting to age and it shows but the majority of the slot machines are updated and look great, you have plenty of food to choose from and you also have decent hotel rooms. In conclusion if you are in Idaho I'd say go for it but if you are in Spokane you have better options.

We stopped by the casino for a quick snack and to gamble a few dollars. The casino is going through some major remodeling with a lot of the floor space unusable. So instead of gambling we settled in to the Red Skies lounge and enjoyed some food and drinks with the local bartenders Flip and Tony.! The food came out quick and our service was awesome! I was hungry after a long day so the salty pork tacos hit the spot even with the over ripened avocado. I would do it again because it was a nice little spot and they were quick, clean and friendly.

Thankful for deadbolt locks on room doors. As we were leaving our one night stay we happened to look on the floor and right outside our door was a booklet with 2 room keys with OUR room number in the booklet. The keys didn't look like the 2 we had. As we checked out, we asked the front desk why 2 room keys with our room number was on the floor outside of our door. He had no answer so he brought security over. We were told security cameras would be reviewed. The answer: the 2 keys belonged to housekeeping and the keys were inactive. WHAT?!? Why would housekeeping lay two keys in a booklet labeled with our room number outside our door???? And as a guest, how do I know this?! I don't believe housekeeping would have 2 keys with a welcome booklet with our room number on them, makes no sense to me. Don't appreciate such a shrug off answer from a hotel with great reviews, which is why we picked it.nMoral of the story: utilize the extra locks on your door. Besides our security being compromised, the room was nice, hence the two stars...trying to be somewhat fair.

Enjoyed our stay in RV parking with electric for a reasonable fee. RV dry camping is available for no fee. Hotel and casino complex is impressive. Staff is friendly and professional, glad to share info on discounts. Gas station on site has reasonable rates, discount for casino reward members. Beautiful area!
