Canyon Street Laundromat & Showers

The owner is absolutely awesome and the place is very very VERY clean. Last laundromat I visited I wanted to toss the clothes after leaving (you know how that grunge smell goes) but not here. Check it out for a quick turnaround on clean.

Best (and maybe only) place in West Yellowstone to grab a shower while staying in Yellowstone during the 2020 season, as their showers are all closed. If I remember correctly, for an 8 minute shower it was $6. The women's shower room only had one working shower, so there was a bit of a wait- but the water was hot and pressurized so I have no complaints other than that. Be sure to bring quarters or have cash! The showers use only quarters as payment.

If you are desperate for a shower, which I was, then you can get one here. However, beware. The facility is old and very dirty. The women’s shower only has one working shower and it is filthy. Wear flip flops or sandals because it is a wood floor and gross. Thankfully they had bottles of bleach on the counters and I was able to spray it down before I used it. There is a smell that over powered the bleach I used...nAgain, I came out feeling cleaner than when I went in, but only just. I felt it was expensive at about $9 by the time I was done. If you have another option, take it.

Pros: it's a shower actually open during Covid and very close to Yellowstone west entrancennCons: water is lukewarm at best, quarter machine in the shower is finicky (I found it best to very slowly and carefully insert one quarter at a time and that worked about one every four attempts), definitely grimy with a distinct smellnnWould recommend to fellow traveling dirt bags in desperate need of a shower and place to refresh, would not recommend to anyone classy or proper with a better option to get clean

2 star is generous for showers only because they are only option in town. Luke warm at best no adjustment. Very dirty and the timer is not accurate at all so be prepared with extra quarters.
