Beautiful grounds, and nice location next to Lake Payette. They were closed the entire time we were there because of Covid but it looked like a fun place to visit.
Quite peacefull mountian town only thing I can't stay, only here to help company, will be back property in yellow pine.
Wasn't open at all during the week we were in McCall. No hours posted that made any sense, just a note on one building letting visitors know they were closing early for the 2017 season, and the note was dated over a year ago (It's August 2018 now).nnI'm incredibly disappointed. My dad and I came back on three different days hoping to catch the place open and we couldn't. We walked around and looked at what we could from the outside. The grounds are really neat, and the focus of the museum on local logging and fire fighting efforts is pretty unique as well.nnI sincerely hope they get things worked out and that we can come back another time and visit when they have it open.
Closed on a Saturday. Was not able to see.
Fun history. Lovely docent.
