Albertsons

Aside from lousy selection, outrageous prices, and deceptive shelf labels, it's perfect. EDIT: I know a lot of the folks at the store on Eagle and McMillan. The guy who runs the meat counter is great. All the checkers and baggers are super friendly. (Hi Jimmy!). Same, at the deli counter and bakery. Even the folks at the US Bank are friendly. Its a great staff and they do a great job of making it feel like a neighborhood store. The egregiously high prices are not set by the local staff...

The difference between here and the other grocer in McCall is that 1st and foremost the employees appear to be happy to be there. They go out of their way to throw a smile or nod your way and offer help if you look lost BUT totally NOT used car salesman creeper like way. The store is impeccably clean, things are easy to find (except simmer sauce ;-)nnThe reason why I shop here and only here is because of the employees from the meat counter to the deli to the cashiers to the stockers to the vendors, they appreciate their locals and for me that matters.

Beautiful store. Everything you need. Just wish they would have kept the donuts the same as Paul's because they were so much better. My wife and I recently went in to buy some food for dinner. It was 7:30pm and when we asked to have a couple of different meats sliced for us the lady in the deli was all bent out of shape that she had to do her job. If you stop cutting meat and serving people at a certain time then post it somewhere. They need to do a little customer service training so we don't feel like we cant ask for the services they offer to be performed. Everything else about the store is great and the checkers where very friendly.

This has to be one of the nicest Albertsons that I have ever seen. The pharmacy is up stairs and so is Starbucks. Great service and everyone was super nice.
