Can I do 6 out of 5 stars? Wow! The views in this park are amazing. I must have taken 200 photos. No exaggerating. As the light changes from hour to hour it's unbelievable. Upper Inspiration Point has to be the best!
Bryce Canyon is in a class of its own when it comes to national parks. It's worth an entire day at least just to explore the whole place.nnSome things to keep in mind when planning your visit:nn• Thin air. It's up at almost 8000' in elevation, so if you have problems breathing, then you should probably stick to the rim overlooks instead of hiking on the trails. Also, it'll be much cooler here than anywhere else nearby. Even in the dog days of summer, it'll be cool enough for you to hike the trails without baking. In the winter, it'll be all snowy.nn• To get a good tour of the park, you should go to the hiking trail and walk through it all. The rim overlooks are spectacular, but nothing beats seeing it all up close. I suggest taking the bus all the way to the Peek-A-Boo Trailhead and then exploring the park from there.nn• Bring water. There are a few hydration stations, but I suggest bringing a hydration pack and some snacks. Also, bring an external battery and charging cable for your phone because you'll be snapping pics left and right.
These Canyons were magnificent.nI was amazed by the stone structures and the beauty of the path. One of the prettiest hikes I have ever done. We were able to camp out of the canyon by a very beautiful lake where you can fish, kayak, and grill some food. Stargazing is one of my favorite things to do. So if you are into that, that would be a joyful experience.
Spent three days with the family exploring Bryce Canyon over our schools spring break. Bryce Canyon is one amazing place and the amenities inside and around this national park have grown quite a bit from the last time I visited 22 years ago.nnOur first day was spent hiking around Sunrise Point and down into the Queens Garden. Our boys loved this hike more than any other after it.nnSince Bryce is considered a 'Dark' park (actual designation earned by taking light measurements for years), we spent the evening admiring the stars from the Sunrise and Sunset overlooks. Spectacular!nnThe scenic loop is fun and was perfect for our second day, since it was cold with a biting wind about 20 degrees colder when it blew. Not as much hiking, but great views a short distance from your parked car.nnThe hike to Mossy Cave, outside of Tropic, was a great cap to our vacation on our third day. Careful of road construction while they widen the highway around there. Can cause significant delays to your plans (April 2021 if you see this in the future)nnI'd recommend Bryce Canyon to anyone who enjoys nature and hiking. You won't find many vistas like this anywhere else in the world.nnBtw, shout out to Ruby's Inn. Still a great place to stay while visiting here.
Loved Bryce canyon. Next time I will stay at the log cabins. A great place to visit with friends and family. Rock formations and color is breath taking. The place is kept clean. Plenty of parking space. Entry fee 35 dollars for 7 days.
