Naturally, a water heater won't go bust unless it's at night, a weekend, or-- better yet-- a three-day holiday weekend. And just to make it interesting, it'll be covered by a home warranty company, who needs their procedure followed to the letter or they won't pay for it. While other plumbers balked at dealing with the home warranty company-- and I can't say as I really blame them-- Red Bear stepped up to the plate and knocked the cover right off the ball, both of which sailed over the fence and out of the park, never to be seen again. They called the warranty company without hesitation, got authorization, and installed the water heater-- during the holiday, mind you-- and got hot water running again. Just awesome.nnUPDATE March 2021nStill batting a thousand. Since my first review, I have used Red Bear for multiple plumbing jobs, and each and every one has had great results. They just yanked a soon-to-die water heater from my personal abode and installed a new gas line and a tankless water heater. I cried, it was such a beautiful install. Works great, too.

I really like this company, and how they handle their business, from the back office (Jessica and Debbie) to the tech guys (Cody & Orlando) who come out and replaced my old furnace and water heater. Jessica and Debbie who work in the office are quick to return your calls or emails. Jessica & Debbie listen to your issues and quick to answer your questions or help you out in any situation you find yourself in. From emergencies to general questions! I never felt like I was bothering them, I never felt rushed while talking to them on the phone.nnUnfortunately I have dealt with some flakey companies up here in the area, and this is not one of them! Like I said, they listen to your concerns and issues and they'll give you a honest professional opinion, and not a sales pitch, or try to sell you something you do not need.nnI had the pleasure to meet Mike the owner who is a very knowledge guy in his business. Friendly, professional. Mike runs a great business and it reflects in their work. He is definitely a problem solver when it comes to difficult jobs. I will recommend this company all day long! It's so amazing to work with professionals! We had a gas wall heater that was quite vintage, made grinding noises and lost it's pilot light frequently. Reached out to Red Bear and made an appointment. They called before arrival to let us know they were on the way, took the time on premises to explain some options, provided written quote in a timely manner and without pressure. The workmanship is awesome, the new heater has no running pilot and they installed a Nest Thermostat we left for them.nnI would call these guys back for anything heat or gas related in a heartbeat; they were truly excellent.

Cody was very knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. He found a way to save a lot of money from the quote he gave me, and it cost me less than anticipated. Very pleased with his work and will use him for annual maintenance.
