Beautiful, must see!

Awesome history and an easy beautiful walk or bike ride. I recommend walking so you can enjoy the historical cabins and read about them along the way.

Another must see on the trip around the lake. Very informative about the early days of the lake. Beautiful old cabins and guest quarters and right on the water. You can stroll the beach with a beautiful view and walk among some Giant Sequoyah's. It is very tranquil and has a very nice walking path. It is FREEEE too! I truly believe you should not miss this.

This place is so cool. We've lived in Tahoe for 2 years and just discovered it. Lots of old (but amazing) cabins and boathouses. Kids likely aren't going to be impressed, though. My recommendation: take a bike ride on the bike paths and go through this place. There are several bike racks where you can leave your bike and go get a closer look on foot (or if you're nervous to leave it, you can just walk your bike in).

A century ago was the Grandest Resort in the world. It’s the summer resort of 3 wealthy families in San Francisco. The preserved cabins are beautiful and well preserved.
