Nevada State Railroad Museum

The steam trains they have are in impeccable condition. I loved looking at all of the small details that were put into each train car.nThe storeroom/warehouse had one of the most interesting, beautiful, restored rare 1910 VNT self propelled passenger car. The gentleman attending the warehouse was wonderfully attentive and knowledgeable on the trains and was more than willing to answer our questions and entertain the kids.

Wonderful museum with some great artifacts. Very unique engines. Staff is very friendly and willing to help.

Excellent place to go learn history about the Railroads and different trains. Really interesting and good folks too!

This is a great little secret for Carson City. It's a small railway museum with a gentlemen that's very knowledgeable with plenty of stories to tell. Please give him the courtesy of letting him tell you the stories, I promise you!! You won't be disappointed.

Just went to the easter event they had it was amazing with train rides and easter bunny pictures. I definitely recommend this place
