I had a great experience at this place. I visited here in the summer and I truly enjoyed the week stay. I wish I had spent more time there.

The condo was clean and comfortable. The bed was great. After a couple of snows and frost the staff was out shoveling and spreading ice melt. The unit I was in needs to be updated. This doesn't mean the unit was dirty and broken down. It just needs new carpet, fixtures, paint, etc. Enjoyed my time there.

Cons:nService offered at the front desk (a.k.a. all the help we received) is unhelpful and hard to understand. It's not worth asking her for directions, for a frying pan that doesn't have teflon chipping away, etc. I also think it's worth mentioning that it took several minutes for her to find our reservations.nOther complaints consists of minor things like there being no air conditioning, refrigerator being too cold and freezing things, apps on the TV (e.g.: Netflix) not working properly because it wasn't set up at all, stairs for the master bedroom, and the suite just being small. Also, the wifi is weak.n(These judgements are relative to the quality of The Ridge Sierra which is where we stayed last time.)nnPros:nThe beds are comfortable and the showers work fine.nnConclusion: If you don't plan on eating in or spending time in the apartment, then it's fine.

Royal aloha is a nice place. Close to ski lifts and only 10-15 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. Pam the manager is an awesome lady. The staff goes above and beyond for there guests. They were nice enough to let us check in early. No snow when we were here but we sure had a good time. The views are amazing.
