Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino

My husband and I used to go to Sunland Park casino every week to go gamble, he loves the roulette machine. However, after they have opened post covid they have failed miserably. They no longer offer a smoking room and the staff is less than respectful. I am on crutches and I have to crutch myself all the way outside to go smoke and when I go out there I crutch past several employees and they won't even hold the door open for me which I find very disrespectful. That everybody would be so pleased to be working again but it is completely the opposite everybody seems less than average at their job now that they have reopened. So we will continue to go to speaking Rock and give them our business until you decide to open the smoking section again and start insisting that your employees be kind, courteous, and respectful!

Been here a couple times since they reopened. To be honest you are better off saving your money. The machines don't pay out like they did before they closed. I guess the owner is trying to make up the money they lost after being closed for a year. I will not be returning anytime soon.

We travel here for business and the hotel is amazingly clean, well kept and a bang for your buck at $79 while the casino is closed. Staff are nice, we like Elly the night check in girl. Ample parking for long trailers like ours. Love this place.

A great place to go and hang out. The slots are tight, but they have their social distancing down. Thermal temperature check before you enter, so don’t go if you’ve got a fever. The machines are well spaced out, except for the few that aren’t, but those have huge plastic partitions to keep you safe. Plus, no more worrying about that lady who uses three machines at once. She and the guy who does it too can’t do it anymore. So when you see her wave and laugh at her and her one slot machine. Oh, and no smoking inside, so you know that lady’s really mad.
