Inn of the Mountain Gods

We stayed here this past weekend and all I can say is Wow! What a beautiful place! We rented the King Superior Room with a lake side view and it really exceeded our expectation! Quiet, clean room, comfortable bed, wonderful staff and plenty of things to do at the resort as well as around town. We loved the hotel pool, gym and huge hot tub! We loved the fact that after hours the pool turns into 18yrs. & older only! Also need to mention the food was great! Only downfall was It was pretty pricey to stay here, but honestly in my opinion it was well worth the price. Over all we had such an amazing stay and we can’t wait to go back and take our daughters with us next time!

No food. no drinks. no place to sit down. No valet

My wife booked a suite for us arriving today for two nights. We came for her birthday.nnWhen we arrived and checked in. They tried to put us in a standard room not a suite. They told us that no suites were available and that she did not book a suite. They did not send a confirmation.nnThe offered us a suite at double the price. We agreed but we also decided to stay just one night.nnWhen we went to the room it was run down and dirty. They agreed to give us a better suite. The second suite was clean and in much better condition.nnIt took them over an hour before we finally had a good room. Everything about this trip was a mess because they did not book the suite.nnWe have stayed here numerous times and never had any problems until now.nnBuyer beware.

First the good, the view is amazing if you get lake side you see more of the lake but you also see the mountains. If you get mountain side you see the mountain and the lake just not as much lake.. both are great views. The rooms are nice and clean and the amenities in the rooms are nice. The bed was comfortable. Now to what was not so nice, the floors in the hotel are dirty. The halls, elevators and the restaurant floors are so dirty. Trash stays in the elevators for days. The staff at the broken arrow restaurant are very rude and inconsiderate. The food there is not good it's not super bad but it's not good. The restaurant deserves a one star. Only 5 people can be in the gift shop at a time and that is where you get coffee so in the mornings there is a long line. Oh the employees in there are rude as well. You can not take alcohol in the actual casino they have designed areas to drink and you can not smoke in the casino.

The hotel is still running at 1/3 capacity. The pool is drained, top golf is evening weekend only, buffet is still closed, poker room is still closed. The room itself as a standard mountain view is as expected, the bed and sheets are comfortable, the room coffee is good and the shampoo/conditioner setup is nice. Will re review this once everything is open again. Midweek is expected to be slow and most of the shops are closed. Come for the get away.
