I absolutely love Sunlight! This is where I learned to snowboard about 20 years ago. I just took my wife and two kids there to ski and snowboard for the first time. My kids took a lesson with Mikey the instruction who was very patient with them and just a cool dude. All of the other instructors were friendly, too. It's also located a few miles from Glenwood Springs which is one of my favorite mountain towns in Colorado.
This place and the staff were awesome! Although we went late in the season, all of the runs were open and well groomed. Lift attendants were friendly, and very patient...it was my kids' first time on a lift. I'm looking forward to next year!
On our girl trip we booked a snowmobile tour. Tye checked us in with friendliness & great energy for us to take to the mountain. Edwin was our guide 1 word - AWESOME. The views are amazing & Edwin was very supportive & kind to all members in the group. Well worth the travel & a unforgettable experience. Will be back again.
Sunlight is THE place. The local, mom/pop mountain where locals ski/board and are extremely friendly. They continue to improve their services, and are not overwhelming or ridiculously expensive like a lot of resorts in colorado. HIGHLY recommend.
Five star for the experience. One of the best attractions in Colorado. Jaycee, the trainer at Glenwood was so kind and helpful that he went out of his way and helped me get on my feet as I kept falling down the ski mountain. Moreover, view from the mountain top was breathtaking. This place is a must visit!
