Need to see alligators, snakes, pythons, anaconda, parrot, fish, turtles, frogs? This is the place to go!!!nnThere are turtles freely moving around in the place. You can feed them lettuce.nnFriendly staff who helped talking photos with American alligator. We held it and took photos with it. Then they give a certificate to show bravery to hold the alligator. The certificate is then given a bite print from Alligators jaw.

Great little stop on the road between the Sand Dunes and Salida. It has a bit of a Tiger King feel at points, but the staff is super friendly and they educate the public on the dangers of owning reptiles that you are not familiar with. The best part are the free range tortoises - they are super gentle and just about everywhere. The kids had the chance to hold a baby gator and thought that was super cool. We would recommend a stop - takes about 45-60 min, depending on how much you linger.

This place was very cool! We don’t usually stop at these road side type places but we are so glad that we did! My kids said it was better than any zoo. They got to hold a baby alligator and they loved the talking parrots that were around the place. They got to feed fish and giant tortoises. Tons of cool reptiles to see. The staff was so nice! Totally worth the time and money to stop here!

Lots of gators, fish, birds, lizards, snakes, monitors turtles etc. Very natural environment for the animals. They were well taken care of, relaxed and at ease.nnGot to hold a small american alligator and a young bearded dragon. Only regrets are that we couldn't hold a snake and we went when it was a bit too chilly for them to be super active. We will be going back soon, when it's warm enough for them to be more active.

Had a great time at Colorado Gators. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My nine year old loved holding Shorty the alligator! They are much bigger than we expected, with about 200 alligators on site. The emus and tortoises we're also favorites of our. Great family fun.
