Willow Creek China Flat Museum

This museum is closed due to covid-19 until further notice. I drove over 6 hours to visit only to be greeted with a sign on the door stating they were closed. However, there is no information on the museum website about it being closed. Unless you only want a picture with the wood carved bigfoot don't waste your time!!

No self respecting purveyor of curiosites can pass up on this place. I went in the summer of 2018 and the museum was open. Multiple reviewers have stated the museum wasn't open during their visit. I would suggest calling ahead. In my case, I was lucky enough to swing on by and walk right in. The museum is small, but offers plenty of factual history on Willow creek itself. There is a room in the back where the magic happens, and thats where you'll be met with the cryptozoological equivalent of the situation room. You don't have to be a believer to appreciate the passion that went into creating this exhibit. Overall, support this museum by paying a visit, getting some merchandise, and speaking to the friendly staff. Then go get a Bigfoot burger down the road.

Been by 4 times in the last year and half, and it's always closed during their 'open business hours'. At least post a sign on the door, or an update online. Better off driving 1200 mi to the Bigfoot Museum in Bailey, CO. Incredible detail, relevant displays, updated sightings, science meets myth.

As of July 15th 2020 the museum and bigfoot collection are closed and by the looks of it.... They've been closed now for such a long time. They should really update their website. CLOSED!
