Very friendly, excellent and very helpful, very responsive! Everything you want in our Police to keep us all safe! Strong and Stern when need to be but also humane.

Hit & run - 12:00 midnight, driver of car backs into fence and scrapes car next to them. Four family's come out of their homes and sees the driver drunk (can't hardly stand). He then gets in his car a drives away, people around get his license plate and they call 911. One person follows him and sees where he parks his car. Forty-five minutes later! the police show up and say they can't do anything because he is probably sleeping and could have had a drink at home??? (so no proof he was drunk)?? This is after four family's saw him drunk. Question 1 - why can't they arrest him at his home, (they knew where he lived). Question 2 - why did it take the police forty-five minutes to arrive. Carmel Valley isn't a crime ridden community and at midnight should have been here within five minutes for a drunk driver, hit & run.

Tracey was the absolute best ANGEL that has ever happened to me! She was the first person who answered the phone when I called the police hotline, requesting the citation number of the hit and run that happened to me. She went to bat for me and called four people with questions about my case that weren't adding up. She found exactly what I needed to give my insurance company and the insurance company of the person who hit me. Tracey you are loved, thank you SO MUCH!

We participated in the Get Out The Vote / Rejection of the kavanaugh confirmation - Demonstration yesterday in downtown San Diego.nnThe San Diego Police Department were absolutely TERRIFIC ! They were professional and very responsive to ensure we demonstrators were safe by managing traffic as we marched down Broadway and up N. Harbor Dr. to the County Administration Building and back to the US Courthouse.nThe SDPD managed traffic at lights so we were able to stay together crossing on Red, while never pushing or constraining us in any way other than to assure our safety. In fact, (and Facts are important) I. never heard a SDPD Officer constraining us at all. They assured our safety in ways that did not require us to do anything different.nnWe were also orderly, respectful and thankful for the Police presence and actions.nnAgain, Thank You!
