Providence Station

The epitome of uninviting. The circular design feels immensely claustrophobic; there is no natural light and the ceiling is too high for the small size of the space. This leads to disoriented passengers, and makes them prime targets to the social vices of Providence. The restrooms could due with less of a roughshod, downtrodden vibe. The platform area is poorly-ventilated, the stairs narrow and closed-off, and the entire area is dark and diesel-smelling. The highly-convenient location is why this is not one star.

Nice station. Took a train from here to Boston.

Have traveled through the Providence Amtrak Station many times and have a particular fondness for its design.

I love all things Providence ud83dude06 it's the artist in me I suppose. The restroom was very clean. The various workers were polite and helpful. The snack store had some beautiful offerings but the snacks were way overpriced. However I got where I was going in peace. What else can u ask for?

It's a beautiful station but it's under construction at the moment. Great service it's a medium size space across from providence state house and providence place mall. It has a cafe and a little store as well. Caters to amtrak and the line to Boston. Service there is friendly. The seats are hard but comfortable. Also it's clean
