Tried to get a car wash but it wasn't running. It seemed like it had been closed for a while, and there were several dusty parked cars in the gas station area. Has this business been temporarily or permanently closed?
Good guy works hard for his job
I usually go to another car wash up the street, but they were having mechanical issues, so I decided to give this place a shot.nnNo machine to select wash, which was fine since an employee greeted me immediately. However, when I suggested paying with a card he said “do you not have ANY cash?”nnAfter I scrounged up a $20, he ran off only to come back with not enough change in bills, so I ended up with enough quarters to satisfy parking meters for a few weeks.nnI selected the $10 wash, the second least expensive option, hoping that the promise of an undercarriage wash and protectant would be fulfilled.nnThe employee sprayed down the car manually and worked around with a sponge before the auto wash started. However no soap or suds were visible, and it seemed like I might have been the first person to use the wash in a long time. Long story short, my car didn’t get much cleaner than it was.nnThe guy ended up wiping off most of the car with a microfiber towel but wiped the windshield with it only after he’d done the entire side of my car, leaving the windshield streaky.nnThere was still plenty of bug residue on my hood after washing, and the area around my license plate and most of the back of the car didn’t even seem to get wet enough to rinse the dust and dirt off.
