We recently bought a 50 year old home and had two important plumbing jobs where I called Travers. The first time was to replace a complete drain system under the kitchen sink and 3 water valves in the basement. They showed up on time, gave us great advice on doing the right amount of work, and did a very thorough job.nnThe second time I called them to replace a pretty old water heater in our basement. They suggested coming to the house first for an evaluation. I had to get it repaired quickly and was concerned an evaluation would delay the job. I'm glad I took their advice. They were able to quickly fix an air lock in the pipes and said we should get a few more years out of the heater. Other plumbers might have been happy to do a full replacement for 1000s of dollars.nnThey charge fair prices and provide great advice and service. Travers will be our go-to plumbing company.

I have used Travers Plumbing several times now and they are always on time & professional. The techs offer helpful advice as well. I highly recommend them.

When I have a task that is too big for my other plumber (2 guys working on their own), I always call Travers. They've got a good sized crew and they deliver very high quality work, consistently. Would highly recommend.

I’ll start this review by saying this is the 2nd review I’ve ever given of anything. This company is so bad I have to make sure others do not make the mistake of paying them a single penny. The owner was supposed to call me to fix a billing problem and it’s been almost a week and I still haven’t heard back despite calling multiple times AGAIN. These folks agreed to fix a small toilet leak between 10-2, showed up at 6pm with no explanation after we called about 10 times to get someone in there (renters were occupying and it was only bathroom). They then charged us for a two hour visit after plumber was there for 30 minutes at time and a half because by 6, guess what, that’s overtime now and that’s somehow our fault. I called to explain the issue and both employees I talked to told me I was lucky to get their business and that I should be thanking them that they even came over to the house. Heard enough? Probably, stay clear of this awful company. Just bought a home in the area (as did several friends) and they probably missed out on at least 25k of business over the coming years. Way to treat your customers, prime example of how to bury your own business. No sympathy here.

I have not had a need for a plumber in more than 8 years. I reached out to Travers as I had used them in the past. It was the same great service I remembered. The Plumber (Andy) that showed up was very pleasant and I was happy to welcome him into my home. I was very pleased with the service and the price. Nice to know after all these years they are still delivering exceptional service. Hats off to you Travers.
